• The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon hosts the 132nd Championship and is one of four Grand Slams worldwide. It is the most prestigious annual tennis tournament held in the UK and is one of ten significant tournaments being held this summer across England.
     
  • Of the ten tournament locations, Wimbledon (SW19) also tops the league when comparing the highest residential sales values over the past three months at £8.25 million. Yet based on average sales values over the last 12 months, The Queen’s Club in West Kensington (W14) comes out at top at £886,302 followed by Wimbledon and then Surbiton (KT5).
     
  • Outside of London, Ilkley in Yorkshire (LS29) has the highest average values of any of these tennis club postcode districts at £383,973. This is 44% cheaper than buying in the same postcode district as one of the London clubs, and as much as 57% cheaper compared to The Queen’s Club.
     
  • The most expensive sale outside London over the last three months has been recorded in Edgbaston (B15) at £2.83 million. The Northern Lawn Tennis Club in Didsbury, Greater Manchester (M20) has recorded the largest rise in prices over the last 12 months at 14.3%.
